How information is used by the Moroccan Cybersecurity Olympiad programme.
Programme contacts
The programme is organized by Anas Abou El Kalam (Team Lead) and Souhail Mssassi (Deputy Team Lead). For questions or requests to access, correct or delete your information, email [email protected]. For an application-related request, include the email address used in your form.
Student applications and offers of help
Information submitted through the student and volunteer forms is used to review applications or offers of help, contact participants, and organize training, selection and programme activities. Submissions are not published. Only authorized organizers can access the private database. The relevant form provides its detailed notice before submission.
Optional information
MASSAR, practice-platform profiles and teacher contact details are optional in the student form. We do not request passwords or identity documents. Platform scores do not automatically determine selection.
Hosting and notifications
Cloudflare hosts the website and private database; processing may take place outside Morocco. Cloudflare Turnstile checks technical browser signals to limit automated submissions. Resend processes email addresses to send confirmations and programme messages. Organizer alerts in Slack contain the applicant’s full name, submission type and total number of submissions of that type. Contact emails sent to [email protected] are forwarded by Cloudflare to the organizer’s inbox.
Anonymous analytics
Anonymous tab-session events measure visits, broad traffic-source categories, screen-size groups, page language, sections seen and submission error types. They never record field values or session videos. They contain no names, email addresses or raw IP addresses, are retained for up to 30 days, and respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. The hosting provider may separately process technical data needed to operate and protect the service.
Retention
Application and volunteer records for this season are scheduled for deletion by 30 September 2027, or earlier on request. Any separate retention needed for selected pupils will be explained separately. Provider backups and copies held in email services may have separate retention periods. There is no marketing or newsletter signup through these forms.
Facebook and public messages
Use the secure application forms for student applications and offers of help. Please do not put MASSAR numbers, school records or other private application details in Facebook comments. Facebook processes activity on its service under Meta’s privacy policy. This page explains the programme’s forms and website; it does not replace Meta’s policy.
